There’s really nothing like a good, hearty meal on a lazy morning. Rich and filling, there will be no danger of a sugar crash when you choose a savory breakfast. Plus, when you decide to serve breakfast for dinner, you won’t feel like you skipped right ahead to dessert.
Good down home comfort food makes everything better. Even miserable cold weather. To some, this may be a strange recipe, but it’s old fashioned and frugal, both of which are points in the good column as far as I am concerned.
No holiday or potluck is complete without devilled eggs. They just are so easy to eat and absolutely delicious.

Pancakes on a stick, pigs in a blanket, toad in the hole; apparently sausage and pancakes are a love story; albeit a weird one.
Here’s a common take on the combination; baked in a muffin tin.
(Feel free to use pancake mix, or your favorite fruits or bacon, cause…. bacon; instead of sausage!)
