Without ANY prompting ask your kids these questions. It’s a great way to see what they think. Copy and re-post with your kids answers.
I was nominated by Jackie of My sort of Adult Life to take the Four Facts Survey so here goes!
It probably won’t be in 2016; but the only way to get a dream done, is to make a plan, and then make goals to complete the plan; or something like that.
One of my favorite shows is Triple D, or Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri. He’s a bit on the cheesy side, but I love seeing the different ideas these owners and managers have come up with.
I came across an entertaining thread in the Boardgame Geek group today where someone was looking for game themed menu items for a possible startup (Good luck Chuck!)
And the idea was inspiring. Here were some of the ideas that really resonated with me.
Ultrasounds don’t just reveal the baby’s gender; the procedure is done mainly to take an early look at the fetus to make sure it’s developing properly. During an ultrasound, the technician moves a device over the mother’s stomach that sends high-frequency sound waves through her uterus. The sound waves create a picture of the fetus that is viewed simultaneously on a monitor. Depending on the age and position of the fetus, the technician should be able to accurately tell if it’s a boy or a girl. This is based on the technician’s recognition of its male or female genitals. Gender determination is always done in 2D B&W technology for reliability purposes.
We are expecting a new family member to join us May 2015 (on Lea’s birthday!) And won’t be finding out the gender of RedHot until the 2nd of January, but are excited to figure out a name. We won’t be releasing our decision until we can tell RedHot their name face to face, so you’ll just have to wait 😉
It’s my birthday today! So I thought I’d share some birthday facts
November 7 is the 311th day of the year (312th in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar. There are 54 days remaining until the end of the year.
I share my birthday with *TWO* local MilSpouses, Madame Curie, James Cook, Hiroshi Yamauchi, Boris Gromov, Billy Gillispie, David Petraeus, Archie Campbell, Jason and Jeremy London, Billy Graham, Joan Sutherland, Adam Devine, Eric Kandel, Morgan Spurlock, Nathan Adrian, Christopher Knight, Lauren Elaine, Forrest Kline, & Joni Mitchell.
Birthdays are incomplete without the ones who love and care for you. Thank you to my family and friends for making my every day special, and my birthday even more so. Whenever I get a new calender, I flip straight to my birthday month to see which picture I got. Don’t you too?
Since it’s that time of year again, I am sharing another fun post.
