The Circle is a monthly link-up that was born with dreams of creating a place for bloggers to get to know one another just a little bit better and to make new friends. Hosted by Kiki at ‘In It’s Time‘ on the third Wednesday of each month. This monthly link-up is a place for bloggers to share and write on a fun, light-hearted (or possibly heavy-hearted) topics.
While Kiki has decided to discontinue hosting the linkup; I like the concept, so will be using a list of blog post prompts to continue the tradition.
This month’s prompt is: What is the scariest thing you have ever eaten?
My oldest aunt lives in Hawaii, and is a bonafide hippy. She was raised on a small ranch in SW Colorado, to some very down to Earth Christian parents, and was elated to leave the area behind and reinvent herself. Growing up, I was led to believe that she was the family weirdo. As an adult, for the most part, she is the one that I share the most in common with.
Isn’t it funny how life works out sometimes?
But every time I am at one of those kitschy gas stations (you know the ones they have in New Mexico) I look for the candy, just for fun. (And you know, to terrify whomever I happen to be with at the time.)
