The Guy Behind the Blog :: November 2016

Once a month I talk about what’s going on in my life at that moment with Currently posts, and then the kids get a monthly post where they get to shine; this post is where Ry gets to take over for a day each month. Hosted by Betsy and Laura, TGBTB linkup is on the last Thursday of each month if you’d like to join up too! (They have since ended the linkup..) Plus it means I get to spotlight this amazing man I have been blessed to share my life with for the past 15 years ūüėČ

In case you are new around here: Ry and I were high school sweethearts, married after I graduated high school, he enlisted in the USAF, and our first kiddos arrived 4 years after that. Our oldest is 6.5, our daughter is 3.5, and our youngest a little more than a year and a half.

This Month’s Questions: for Ry the guy behind the blog.

If you could look out your window and only see one view for the rest of your life, what would you want to see?

Trees and mountains. Jeep and truck in the driveway. The kids play house in the yard.

What is your favorite movie?

I really like the Star Wars movies. I think if I had to chose one that is my favorite though it would have to be Return of the Jedi.

What is your favorite family tradition?

New matching pajamas every year on Christmas eve that we wear to go look at Christmas lights.

What is the best vacation you have ever been on?

My grandpa took me rafting down the Colorado River, through the Grand Canyon, it was 14 days of fun.

Who is the cook between you and your significant other?

My wife is most definitely the better cook, but I have been doing a lot more of the cooking lately.

Do you have any burning Questions about Ry?

A Military Spouse stationed in the middle of nowhere. Emma loves to cook for her family (while dodging dirty dishes). She is blessed to be a stay at home mom with 3 kiddos. She is passionate about cloth diapering, car seat safety, breastfeeding, homeschooling, frugal living, babywearing, and her Christian faith. More Molly Messy than Susie Homemaker, she has been trying to improve her housekeeping and related skills.
